Bas Relief Plaques

Bas Relief (Three Dimensional) plaques have been used for many years to capture a more lifelike image on the plaques surface. Bas relief plaques have traditionally been sculptured by an artist to produce a mould for the casting process.

Military badges, insignias and emblems are common examples of a bas relief. The mould is made of aluminium; this is then stored and can be used again to make subsequent bas reliefs eliminating any additional costs other than manufacturing. Once the casting process is finished these plaques can be hand painted.

A new three dimensional computer imaging process is now available, known as Lasting Memories this new process allows you to personalise your plaque with raised images.
Numerous images can be used on the plaque allowing for a "timeline" to be created of a person's or series of events. Costs are greatly reduced using this new process as there is no longer a need to employ an artist to sculptor the bas relief. Images are scanned into a computer and a three dimensional polymer is produced for casting.

Bas relief plaques are a wonderful vehicle for creating a lasting life like image for prosperity and make a fitting tribute for any occasion.

Flat Relief Plaques

Flat relief (Two Dimensional) plaques allow you to create an image without the additional cost of sculpturing.
Flat relief has the same effect as a normal cast plaque as is illustrated by these examples.
